Senior Travel Consultant (German speaker)
Full-time, based in Spain or Poland or Czech Rep. (BCD Office or Home Office)

In this role you are the primary point of contact for one dedicated customer. You will provide active travel consultation towards the business travelers. You will be able to use your strong relationship building skills to deliver high quality customer service to BCD client. This position performs at senior level and demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry.
 

A snapshot of this opportunity

• You will appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the client
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the client
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs and penalties
• Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
• Perform follow-up as needed and within the time frame promised to the client
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules

How can you set yourself apart

• Extensive experience in the corporate travel management industry
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Advanced skills on travel industry systems (i.e. Amadeus)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
