• supported formulation of 355 Village Water User groups (Committee) and facilitated their capacity building in villages • Represented AMREF at community level during project planning, assessment, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. • Designed and supervised implementation of 200 shallow dug wells in 77 villages of the project area. • Managed to drill of 80 Boreholes in 55 villages and managed construction rain water harvesting system involving concrete tank construction and roof catchments schools. • managed construction of 40 ECOSAN for demonstration and VIP Latrine to 40 institutions (School) in Mkuranga district • Successfully formulated and trained 770 community own resource persons (CORPs) and conducted training of trainers (TOT) covering 77 (TOTs) • Successfully managed sitting, drilling and installation of submersible pumps, and constructed the pumping main of 2 km from the source to storage tanks to supply water to Mkuranga District Hospital and the surrounding community, the system has the capacity of 8650 liters per hour.
