DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND CORPORATE SERVICES Reporting to the Managing Director and at board level, to the Board Chairman for board matters as a Board Secretary and provide leadership and direction for departmental managers Lead, coordinate and manage financial and human resources strategic planning process Ensure adherence to accounting and financial standards as per IFRS, ISA and Tanzania legislations, policies and procedures Research, consolidates and submit the annual budget Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports and statements Develop and maintain a system of controlling physical assets and budget expenditure; and recommend corrective action as necessary Respond to auditors' queries concerning finances and operations and oversee required action to address those queries Manage the maintenance and upgrade of ICT, financial, payroll and human resources management systems Prepare Board papers and circulates to Board members before the board meeting. FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER The primary responsibilities to this position were to: Provide leadership and direction for staff within the entire project Prepare detailed quarterly financial reports for Donor purposes and budgets for the project's fund requests Monitor project's budget and offer corrective action as necessary Maintain records of all fixed and movable assets of the project i.e. their acquisition, destination, allocation and disposal Take responsibility for procurements and ensuring sales invoices are correctly billed out and put in the accounting system Facilitate the payments to suppliers and the processing of bank formalities for foreign purchases Perform regular review of the financial, administration and HR systems in place and re- design any improvements for the areas shown some weaknesses Ensure all financial and administration matters run in compliance with the government laws in terms of Staff contracting, taxation, insurance and Social Security deductions Ensure adherence to legislation, code of conduct, and HR best practices requirements that govern employee/employer relations. This includes terms and conditions of employment, wage provisions, grievance and disciplinary procedures Liaise with Country Director for the issues need his attention and provide him with feedback regarding daily running of the office Perform any other official duties assigned by the Country Director

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT Reporting to the Finance Director. I was responsible for preparation of the cash flow forecast, do budgeting, and investment appraisal. The primary responsibilities to this position were to: Provide leadership and direction for staff within the department Handle full range of financial and cost accounting role such as forecasting, budgeting etc Manage for day to day finance and accounts operations Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls Perform timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to the Board of Directors Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the other departmental teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives
